In the 2007 and 2009 edition of Evidence Explained, we will cover books found in Chapter 12. Please review the following: o QuickCheck models: Basic Formats: Page 646* o Website as Book, Page 657 o Image Copies Online Publication, Page 661 o City Directories, basic citation considerations, Pages 695-698 There is important explanatory material at the beginning of chapter 12 you should review. Meetings are a cooperative experience where TV-TMG users will have the opportunity to lead one of the classes on a volunteer basis. TV-TMG users should bring their laptop and power cord if possible. The class is currently using TMG version 7. A copy of the group's practice database will be provided from our blog. Please download the newest version prior to each workshop. A laptop is not a requirement as the lesson will be digitally projected. TMG questions not specific to all attendees will be addressed in the later part of our meeting or on our blog. Please bring samples of your problem if possible. Many newspaper obituaries have now been indexed, microfilmed and/or digitized. We will discuss what to do when an obituary isn’t online. America." Robyn says there were six factors that influenced migration in America, and they were: Religion; Acquisition and Exploration; Minerals and Money; Bounty Land; Land in General; and Environment. This review of some of the conditions that affected migration in North America is a "must hear" for all genealogists who want to know why their ancestors moved at the time that they did. Robyn will help supply some answers. Robyn Echols has had a life-long interest in family history. Having retired from the United States Postal Service, she now spends much of her time writing and working on famly history related projects. She is currently Assistant Director of her local LDS Family History Center in Merced and the publicity chair for the Merced County Genealogical Society. She frequently teaches and speaks at local genealogy society meetings in Northern California.
