All family historians experience them at some time during their research efforts. We'll discuss alternative research paths -- when substitute records may be your only options. Part of this meeting will be dedicated to a group brainstorming session, so bring your personal brick walls. The L-AGS Study Group is an informal meeting of family historians and researchers. We represent those who have spent many decades learning methods and techniques to those of who are just beginning their journey through the archives and old documents. Come learn and share the challenges, joys, and yes, frustrations of this wonderful lifelong hobby. One of the many things we have in common is the willingness to share and help others. We hope that you will be able to join us at our February meeting. Here is what he might have written if he had been a genealogist: Once upon a midnight dreary, as I squinted beat and bleary, At piles of group sheets, maps and dusty tomes of family lore, Suddenly - like bang - it hit me, just how hard the bug had bit me, Would that demon ever quit me? Quoth my soul forlornly, "Nevermore" ========================================================================
