Click on the link "NEW - L-AGS Photos" on the home page. Our CD collection caught the interest of a many Fair- goers, so the CD-viewing computer was busy most of the time. The CDs are now back at the Pleasanton Library. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- CD-ROM 50-50 Purchase Plan Our spending for new CDs has maxxed out! Since the beginning of 2000 we have added 65 new CDs, all by 50% or 100% donations. As of today there are 316 CDs in the carousels, with 33 more either on order or in the hands of the donors. All should be at the Library before July 1. Since the last report, we have received a commitment of one more CD by full donation: "FQ 398 Family Quest Archives Census Index: Indiana 1870," courtesy of Jim Scofield. We have also received a $100 anonymous donation earmarked for something on the wish list. The generosity of genealogists is impressive! You will always find an up-to-date catalog of our CDs on our Web site at http://www.l-ags.org/pleasanton.cds.html ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Standard information about our library and about the two local LDS Family History Centers, plus information on the other items in this bulletin, can always be found via the link "Coming Events" on our Web site at . ======================================================================= C O M I N G E V E N T S Visitors are welcome at all of our meetings. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- L-AGS FAMILY TREE MAKER FOCUS GROUP Dick Finn, Group Leader Date: Thursday, May 4, 2000 at 7:30 PM Place: Livermore Adult Education Facility (formerly the Sonoma Avenue School), 543 Sonoma Ave., Livermore For a map to the school, dial up: http://www.l-ags.org/sonoma.html In addition to our regular problem-solving discussions, we will rehash the presentation given to the Computer Interest Group by Gary Cave of Genealogy.com, the producers of Family Tree Maker, on April 27th.
