The intent will be to study the video in depth, discuss questions it raises, and add to the list of enhancements we would like to see in FTM. We are primarily a group of Family Tree Maker users (from beginners to experts) who discuss/share problems and successes and in general help each other in the use of FTM software. She will also give a general overview of NSDAR application requirements, with emphasis on other avenues when the information is missing in the usual places. Also she will give an update on the new DAR online catalog and research policy. Gloria is a member of Captain John Oldham Chapter of NSDAR, Grass Valley, California, and is serving as Hospitality chairman and a member of the Committee for Prospectives that assists individuals with their research applications. She has proven 11 Patriots including one as a New Ancestor for NSDAR. She is the secretary of the Nevada County Genealogical Society and a member of the local Grass Roots Genealogical Group. The Fair will be held on Friday, April 9th - 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM; and Saturday, April 10th - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our booth at the fair will feature an exhibit of "My famous ancestor" posters contributed by members. If you have a kinsman who did something famous or infamous and have a picture or graphic or artifact to illustrate the event, we would like to develop a small poster to put on display. After completing the information on your own 2000 census form, make a copy for your own genealogical file.
