On this page we have listed the CDs that we plan to buy as funds become available, and those that we would like to buy if matching funds are contributed by generous individual members. Of course, outright donations of CDs (or the equivalent purchase price) on either list are welcome at any time. Both 100% and 50% donors receive exclusive borrowing privileges, as described in the Purchasing Policy also appearing on the new Web page. Thirteen new CD-ROMs were added to the Genealogy CD Center in the Pleasanton Library on November 28, bringing the total to 167. They are Broderbund CD 403 (U.S./International Marriage Records, 1340 to 1980, donated by Del Greer), The North American Vital Records Index (7 CDs, from LDS, labeled LD 2.1 through LD 2.7) and The British Vital Records Index (5 CDs, from LDS, labeled LD 3.1 through LD 3.5).
