She is a lifelong Livermore resident and related to several old time Livermore families, including Robert Livermore. She grew up in Livermore and went to St. Michael Parish School. She is currently the Business Manager for St. Michael Parish and has been for thirty years. St. Michael Parish is the oldest parish in the valley and the only one to predate this century. She will talk on Livermore history and the records that are available in the Parish Register. If you come from an old Livermore family, she is either related to you or knows you, or both. This program was rescheduled from August because Ms. Jost at that time had to cancel at the last minute. This is the 20 Year Anniversary of our group. Non-members interested in their own family history or in genealogy in general are welcome. This last meeting of the year will not have a fixed topic, but will be an unstructured "Share and Tell" where everyone can discuss the problems and successes they have had with their computers. The hours are: Monday and Tuesday Noon to 9 pm Wednesday and Thursday 10 am to 9 pm Friday closed Saturday 10 am to 5 pm Sunday 1 pm to 5 pm A L-AGS docent, helping with the Internet as well as with genealogy, is currently on duty at the library on Wednesdays from 10 am to 1 pm.
