Regular monthly meeting for September 1996
Theme - "Laughter in Genealogy"
Location - Congregation Beth Emek, 1886 College Avenue, Livermore

Jane Knowles Lindsey will be the featured speaker. She is a past trustee 
of the New England Genealogical Society and a member of the Mayflower 
Society. She has been researching her family since 1982. Jane has been 
a speaker for numerous organizations and her topic and delivery style 
are sure to keep you interested and laughing.

Study Group meeting
Topic to be announced
Location - LDS Church, 950 Mocho Street, Livermore

The Study Group meets monthly to discuss topics in beginning to 
intermediate genealogy. A group leader provides a subject for each 
meeting and handouts are available. There is always an active question 
and answer session. By combining the many talents of our members we 
hope to help each other with our family research problems.

Seminar - "Researching your Family History"
Location - LDS Church, 950 Mocho Street, Livermore
Open to the public

Under the joint sponsorship of the Livermore-Amador Genealogical 
Society and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Livermore 
and Pleasanton Stakes, an exciting one-day seminar/workshop will be 
conducted for beginners and experts. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. 
with classes being held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:50 p.m. Twenty three 
different classes will be given on a wide variety of interesting subjects. 
The registration fee is $10.00 ($13.00 for those planning to attend the 
Internet class).
